An excellent museum located at Coventry airport. There are about 30 aircraft here, together with various other displays and exhibits. Most have some connection with either the local area (such as various Armstrong Whitworth/Gloster types) or the jet engine (Sir Frank Whittle was born in Coventry). Ongoing restoration and repainting projects mean that most of the aircraft are in excellent condition, with a number being open for public viewing.
You can get good pictures here, too. The museum site is big enough that the aircraft are not too close together, and they are generally very nicely arranged for photography.

Midland Air Museum
An excellent website - simple, effective and very informative. Includes pages on the museum's
history, the aircraft (including a full listing), news and events, very detailed information on
how to get there (including public transport), and an excellent account of Sir Frank Whittle and
the jet engine. Well worth a look.
