JEA acquired G-BKMX from British Airways Express in October 1998 to provide extra capacity prior to the introduction of their DHC-8s. Apparently it wasn't expected to remain in the fleet for very long and so retained the basic BA colour scheme, with only a tiny JEA sticker next to the passenger door (just visible here) to let passengers know who they were actually flying with. However, it wasn't until July 2000 that the aircraft was sold on to BAC Express for mail and freight flights, and finally got a new paint job.
