Faleolo International Airport is Samoa's main airport, located about 35 km west of Apia, Samoa's
capital. However, it is certainly one of the quietest airports of any to be found in the Pacific
(not the world's busiest area for air traffic anyway!), due partly to the fact that domestic
flights use a separate airstrip at Fagali'i, much closer to Apia itself. There are probably only
about three or four flights a day here at most.
The opportunities for photography here are unknown - needless to say the only time I spent here
was on arrival and departure (it's a long way to come on the off-chance of an aircraft being
present, and there are plenty of better things to do in Samoa, like absolutely nothing!). There
were no problems taking pictures when walking to and from the plane, however.
