Antonov's ubiquitous An-2 has been built in large numbers in China as the Y-5, including being modified as an amphibian with huge floats. Not surprisingly, however, performance was somewhat lacking, and only a few aircraft were completed before development was discontinued. This particular aircraft's identity has been misreported by almost everyone, but the confusion is simply due to the fact that it has been fitted with a rudder (and part of the serial) from a different aircraft.
