|ex-PLA Air Force Xian H-6 10794
(China Aviation Museum, Datangshan - 31 January 2002)
The Xian H-6 is a Chinese copy of Tupolev's successful Tu-16, of which around 150 have been built since the first Chinese-manufactured aircraft flew in 1968. The type is still in widespread service with the Chinese forces, and is by far the country's most strategically important bomber. The example on display at the Chinese Aviation Museum is presumably one of the early production H-6A variants.
